Nesting Preference: The male and female Canada goose will both raise young and
aggressively guard the nest site. When feeding in flocks, individuals will act as sentries to warn

other geese of predators. The average life span of a Canada goose is 10-25 years. Male’s pitch
is a low honk, whereas the female’s pitch is a higher “hink” sound.
